About Me Hi! My name is Michael Meek. I am in the second grade at Winding Creek Elementary in Moore, OK. In my spare time (when I'm not at the track), I play football and baseball. My favorite driver is Dale Earnhardt, Jr. My favorite place to eat is Ron's Hamburgers. My favorite food is cheeseburgers (at Ron's). By the way - the picture is me buried in the sand on the beach in Cozumel, Mexico.

My Ride Its a 2007 Intrepid Maky with a Gazelle engine built by Champion Racing Engines. It will go 65+ MPH which is fast enough to get me to the front of the pack! I want to say thanks to Champion Racing for all of their help and support.

2008 This is a learning year for me as a pilot and for my team to learn how to tune the new kart and the new engine. I am still learning how to drive a faster kart. My team is a big part of this also. They are learning how to tune the engine to achieve maximum performance. So far I am racing mid pack, but I will be at the front before long, so watch out!

2007 2007 was only my second year in the kid kart class. I had 13 wins (46%) and 25 podiums (top 3) in 30 events. I also participated in 12 Southwest Regional Cup events. I had 2 wins and podiumed in 10 of the 12. I wrapped up the year and my kid kart career with another OMC track championship, a First in the Spring Southwest Regional Cup points, and a Second in the Fall SRC points.

2006 2006 is when my karting career began, at age 5. I participated in 9 events and won 3 of them, including my first race ever. I wrapped up 2006 with a OMC track championship.
